Good for LLC, a little slow to ship

I used Nolo to get my LLC Formation documents, and it was mostly a good experience. The online process for filling out the forms was pretty clear and straightforward, which I appreciated as a first-timer. My only small complaint is that the physical copies of the documents took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, around 8 days. How long do you have access to the online forms after you buy them? Is it just for a year or longer?

For the online forms, I think it's usually a year from purchase. After that, you might have to renew access if you want to keep editing them.

I used Nolo for my will and found it super straightforward. LegalZoom felt a bit more like they were pushing upsells. Nolo's Quicken WillMaker just gives you the software to do it yourself.

LegalZoom is more like a service where they help you file things, Nolo gives you the tools to do it yourself. Depends if you want more hand-holding or just the forms/software. I liked Nolo because it was a one-time purchase.

Can you actually return an ebook if you accidentally buy the wrong one? Or are those sales usually final?

I think ebooks are generally non-refundable once you've downloaded them. It's usually in their policy, so double-check that part.

Yeah, pretty sure you can't return ebooks. It's like with most digital products, once it's yours, it's yours. Maybe if you didn't download it yet, but I doubt it.

Not always, I've seen them more for software like WillMaker or general site-wide deals. LLC formation might be one of those services that doesn't get discounted as much.

Yeah, I think the older ones sometimes had issues, but the new ones are usually good to go for both Windows and Mac. My friend used it on her iMac last year no problem.
